What do you notice,
when nothing asks to be seen?

This site is a gesture. It holds what I cannot say in words. You are welcome to wander.

This is not a portfolio in the usual sense. It is a place where fragments stay still just long enough to be felt.

There are many ways in — a mood, an image, a colour, a trace. The archive does not ask for a route.

I work with watercolour, monotype, ink, pencil, pastel, wax crayon and collage — often mixed media on paper. I return to flowers, windows, woods, sea, streets after rain, interiors and thresholds — not to describe them exactly, but to notice what remains after looking.

My images begin with small gestures: a wash, a stain, a line, a place where water changes the plan. I am interested in the moment when the subject is still visible, but already becoming something else.

The archive moves along a felt axis:

  • trace pale, soft, almost gone
  • core still forming, still being looked at
  • threshold pressure, structure, fracture

You don’t need to understand the axis before looking. It is simply how the archive breathes.
